Mercury Retrograde

Astrology views the planets from as they are on Earth. When a planet is said to be in retrograde motion, it appears to move backwards. Mercury retrograde causes delays, frustrations, and rescheduling due to the planets moving “backwards”. Since Mercury is the planet of communication, most Virgo’s and Gemini’s feel it most since they are ruled by the planet Mercury. During the retrograde, all sorts of communications seem to go haywire. Emails get deleted; computers and electronics malfunction, and big purchases are usually defected. When it comes to travel, plans can get delayed, and miscommunication rules the day. If a relationship or marriage starts during a retrograde, it usually has to be revisited. Use the retrograde to review, revise, renovate, and re-visit things already in progress as opposed to starting any new ventures or signing any new forms of documentation, leases, or contracts. The Mercury retrograde usually occurs four times per year.

Venus Retrograde

Jupiter Retrograde

When the planet of expansion goes retrograde, it is not a good time to take risks or begin new business or travel ventures. Things seem to be more subdued with less opportunity than usual, so it is always a great time to review, reflect, and plan your next steps without pulling the trigger. The best manifestation of Jupiter retrograde is to turn the energy inward, so growth takes place in the sense of spiritual awakenings and studies.

Pluto Retrograde

Mars Retrograde
